We’re Chris and Jen, a husband-and-wife team who turned a lifelong love of crafting into something more than a hobby — we turned it into Today’s Hobbies.

After years of working hard and raising a family, retirement gave us the gift of time — and we decided to spend that time doing what we love most: creating. What started as a relaxing way to pass the time in our Livingston, Texas home quickly blossomed into a passion project. We found joy in every wooden bowl turned, every leather piece stitched, every clock engraved, and every gift imagined.

Soon, our friends and family started asking for handmade items of their own, and before we knew it, Today’s Hobbies was born.

Our shop is filled with one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items made with care, creativity, and a whole lot of heart. From woodworking and leathercraft to laser-engraved décor and custom gifts, each piece reflects our love of craftsmanship and our belief that the best things in life are handmade.
